Meetings are held every month on the third Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
Please join us and show your support!

Veterans:
As always we are taking donations of personal hygiene items and books for the Lebanon Veterans hospital.

Bingo is held the last Sunday of every month at 2:00 p.m. Doors open at 1:00 p.m. Cash Prizes increase with 50+ in attendance, so bring a friend! Donations of bake sale items are always welcome.

This Spring Bingo proceeds will enable us to donate 2 scholarships to Red Land High School and 2 scholarships to North Eastern high School!!!!!!!

Save your can tabs!
Donate tabs to Susquehanna Service Dogs, a program of Keystone Children and Family Services. This organization trains and provides service dogs and hearing dogs to assist children and adults with physical disabilities to become more independent. www.keystonehumanservices.org/ssd.
Donations no matter how large or small can be dropped off at the club during club hours.

Save Your Campbell’s Soup Labels!
Donated soup can labels are to help the Veterans Children’s hospital purchase a van. They need 150,000 more labels.

Special Thank You to Pat Peiffer for volunteering to collect the labels in addition to the work she already does collecting the tabs!

We are no longer collecting plastic jug rings.

Flags
There is a box in front of the club to retire old flags for proper disposal.

See an Auxiliary member to purchase new flags. We have 3’ x 5’ with grommets and 28” x 40” with sleeves. All flags are $5.00.

Sisters and Brothers,
At our May meeting we had installation of Officers for the 2009-2010 year. I thank you for your vote of confidence and look forward to working with you during the upcoming year. It is an honor and a privilege to serve you.

We find ourselves and our nation in the midst of trying times. Many of our sisters, brothers and friends of the VFW have been or are currently in a time of need. Some have lost their jobs, some have health issues and some have felt the sorrow of losing individuals close to them. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.

With your continuing help and support of our activities and fundraisers, you enable us to continue to reach out and touch the lives of those in need. We are always looking for additional help and ideas. Please ladies – attend your meetings. They are on the 3rd Wednesday of the month.

Continue to support the Post and their activities. Together we can make this year a success.

I look forward to being a part of the hard working Ladies Auxiliary team!
